Understand Live Meetings and Meeting Records

An association meeting record holds the schedule, audience, agenda, responses, attendance, and minutes. A linked live session is a separate way for the organizer to host the meeting online.
Association Admins, Secretaries, and Super Admins can open Live session from a meeting's details page. This opens the live meeting scheduler with the association meeting linked. The action may be unavailable when the account cannot use live sessions; follow the message shown in the app or ask an Association Admin to review access. The meeting record itself remains available for ordinary meeting workflows.
For participants, the meeting details page is the reliable place to check the scheduled time and access information. The Join or Start meeting control on that page is an attendance action for an invited participant during the active meeting window; it marks the participant present. It does not by itself confirm that an online live session was opened. See understand meeting attendance for the check-in rules.
If a live session link or control is missing, ask the organizer whether a session was scheduled and verify that you are invited to the association meeting. For a change to the underlying meeting schedule, see schedule and manage a meeting.
