Understand Meeting Attendance
Attendance records whether an invited participant was present, late, or absent. It is separate from the participant's RSVP, which records intent before the meeting.Check in during a meeting
Open the meeting's details page. When the meeting has started and is still active, an invited participant can use Join or Start meeting when that action is enabled. The app records the participant as Going and Present. The action is unavailable before the start time, after the end time, and for cancelled or completed meetings.Meeting managers can review attendance on the details page. Association Admins, Secretaries, and Super Admins have Manual check-in and QR scanner controls, plus attendance actions beside participants. The QR quick check-in dialog asks for a pasted scanned token, participant ID, user ID, or invited member name; it does not open a camera. The app checks the participant's RSVP before accepting certain attendance results, so a status change may be rejected if it conflicts with the recorded response. Review the RSVP first if that happens.
Attendance summaries and participant status appear on meeting details. If you believe your attendance is wrong, ask an authorized meeting manager to review the participant record. See respond to a meeting invitation for RSVP changes and Secretary access for role context.
