Understand Meeting and Voting Privacy
Meetings and governance items use their own audience, eligibility, and visibility controls. Review those settings for each record instead of assuming that every association member sees the same information.Meeting audiences
When scheduling a meeting, the organizer chooses All members, Executives only, or Selected members. RSVP and live-meeting access require an invitation. A person outside the meeting's participant list cannot submit an RSVP or join the active meeting.Meeting details can also contain attendance and minutes. Use the intended audience and include only information appropriate for invited participants. Meeting access and visibility explains the participant checks.
Voting privacy and results
A governance item separately controls voter eligibility, whether it is Anonymous or Named, and when results become visible. Member-facing results for an Anonymous item hide voter identities. A Named item may show a participation list with voter names and response times. The Anonymous label is a member-facing result display setting. It is not a claim of universal ballot secrecy, cryptographic anonymity, or deletion of all identity-linked submission information. Organizers should use the label and result settings according to their association's governance needs.
Results can be Visible immediately, Visible after close, or Admin only. These result rules affect when the result preview appears; they do not change who is eligible to submit a ballot. Read View voting results for the exact display behavior.
