Understand Live Chat Access and Member Status
Live Chat uses your current association membership to determine who appears in the chat member list. It is designed for direct conversations between two association users rather than an association-wide group room.Who appears in the member list
The chat screen lists active users associated with the same association as your account, excluding your own account. You can search the displayed list by member name or location. A person may be absent if the account is inactive, belongs to another association, or is not available through your current membership context. The conversation header identifies the selected member by name and avatar or initials. It also displays an activity status based on that member's recent Asovex activity. While a connected member types in the open conversation, the status can temporarily change to Typing....
Activity and typing status are helpful context, but they do not guarantee that the person is watching the conversation or will respond immediately.
Workspace access
Members and association officers can reach messages from supported dashboard headers, and chats can also be started from available member records. The exact navigation can differ by role. Live Chat does not grant access to administrative areas or records outside the conversation. If your dashboard or member list differs from your responsibilities, review Understand Asovex roles and permissions and ask an Association Admin to confirm your account's association and active status.
