Understand Leadership Access and Safeguards
The full Member Role Assignment workspace and its assignment controls are restricted to the Association Admin role.Members who receive a role notification can open their own Leadership Role Notice. That view presents the recorded member review but does not provide assignment or election controls. Other officer titles do not receive the full assignment workspace merely because they are leadership roles.
Assignment safeguards
Asovex checks the current member role again when an assignment is submitted. It blocks an unchanged role and asks the administrator to refresh if the role changed while the form was open.An Association Admin cannot move their own account to another role when they are the association's only active administrator. Another active Association Administrator must be appointed first so the association retains management access.
When another person already holds the selected executive role, the form shows a conflict warning. The administrator can still proceed because an association may intentionally have more than one holder; Asovex does not automatically remove the other person.
Leadership access is association-specific. For the broader dashboard and permission model, see Understand Asovex roles and permissions.
