Share Images and Files in Live Chat

Use the attachment control in an open conversation to share one image or file with another association member.

Send an attachment

  1. Open the direct conversation.
  2. Select the paperclip attachment control.
  3. Choose a file using your browser or device picker.
  4. Wait for the attachment to appear in the chat.
JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP selections appear as image messages. Other selected files appear with a file icon and filename. The current chat picker sends one selected file at a time.

Open or save shared content

Select an image to open its larger preview. The preview includes a download control for saving the image. If an image cannot load, the preview shows an error state.
Select a non-image file message to open it with the browser or an external application available on your device. Saving behavior can vary by platform: Asovex may show a save dialog or use the device's available download location.
If the file cannot be opened or saved, Asovex shows an error message. Follow troubleshoot Live Chat and ask the sender to share it again if necessary.
The chat interface does not state a public file-size limit, guarantee support for every file type, or provide file version history. This workflow shares an attachment in one conversation; it does not manage the association's general document library.
For files intended as association reference material rather than a direct chat attachment, use the Documents library.
