Send a Leadership Decision to a Member Vote

The Leadership workspace can prepare a candidate-based leadership election when the association wants members to consider a recommended candidate.

Open the election draft

  1. Choose the target leadership role.
  2. Open the candidate's member card or detailed leadership review.
  3. Select the voting action.
  4. Review the prepared election in the vote creation page.
  5. Complete and publish it through the normal Voting workflow when ready.
The prepared draft includes the target role, selected candidates, an all-members audience, a future voting window, and results set to appear after the vote closes. It opens as a draft and still requires administrator review.
Opening or completing the election does not automatically change a candidate's association role. After the association confirms the outcome, an Association Admin must make any intended role change through the leadership assignment workflow.
